Since 2021, Franklin Makers Market has been proud to showcase unique artists, crafters, and creators of all kinds at our bi-annual markets. We believe that handmade really is better, and take great joy in sharing unique goods to shoppers from Williamson County and beyond. After a record-breaking Holiday Market with over 120 artisans and 6,500 shoppers in attendance, we are more excited than ever to continue this tradition.

CAUSE-WAY REQUIREMENTS

• Cause-Way participants pay $0 in fees - this is a complimentary booth!

• Organizations must be a registered 501c3 or a social enterprise directly supporting a local cause.

• Participants must offer a fun activity (ideas below!) or freebie for attendees to engage with.

• Participants may also conduct any education, fund-raising, or contact-generating activities desired in their booth space. Participants retain 100% of revenue generated with no % due to the event organizers.

• Participants must provide their own white tent, tables, chairs, linens, and other items needed for their setup. We recommend bringing a dolly, wagon, or cart for load in.

• Participants will load in at their assigned time (ranging between 7-10am) on May 2.

• Booth spaces are 10×10 - if a larger space is needed (for games etc), that will be subject to conversation with the event organizers.

Ideas for activities in the Cause-Way

• Craft activity (color a bookmark, paint a rock, nature wand, etc)

• Giant bubble blowing

• Chalk art activity

• Yard games (corn hole, ring toss, etc)

• Free Cotton Candy, Lemonade, etc

• DIY mini succulent planting / pot decorating

• Wildflower seed ball making

• Interactive art

• Encouraging Envelope Exchange

• Contests with prizes (“guess how many”, etc)

• Bouquet making

• Bag stuffing
